MESSAGE FOR March 1, 2026 "Too far gone"
Did you know there’s a lie many people seem to quietly believe. The thing about this lie is it doesn’t shout at us, instead it comes as a whisper and it says, “You’ve gone too far.”
Those words have a way of echoing over and over again in our minds. But what does it mean by “gone too far?” According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary it means to do something not allowed.
But Romans 5:8 speaks louder and it says, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Not after we clean ourselves up and got our act together? Not once we promised to do better. Not after we put on our Sunday best? It says, yet “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
This is good news of epic proportions! We don’t have to complete a checklist of good deeds; we don’t have to jump through hoops to earn God’s favor.
So, if you believed you've gone too far from God this message will be one of encouragement and hope.

What We Believe
*We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.
*We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
*We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.
*We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but that relationship was broken through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
*We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
*We believe all Christians should live in obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, desiring to become more like Jesus.
*We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.
